AC Schnitzer BMW F11 5 Series Touring 2011

(from AC Schnitzer Press Release) Power Treatment for the Lifestyle Estate: The new BMW 5-series Touring with the "AC Schnitzer Effect"

The "most beautiful form of dynamics beyond the standard“ in saloon form was launched earlier this summer. Now the tuning specialist AC Schnitzer has applied the "Power Treatment" to the new dynamic BMW in the Touring variant, with numerous special accessories. At the same time, the product range for the saloon has been expanded to include aerodynamic components for M-Technik vehicles.

BMW has given the new 5-series Touring more load volume and flexibility. The specialists from Aachen have been even more generous - they have taken a step further in terms of driving dynamics and driving pleasure. The core of the upgraded Bavarian models is the AC Schnitzer performance upgrades. After conversion, the BMW 530d develops an impressive 286 HP and thus leaves nothing to be desired in terms of power. The uprated 535d now accelerates with an impressive 360 HP, while the 520d and 525d develop a powerful 218 HP and 245 HP respectively. The AC Schnitzer engine styling with capacity logo shows just what is concealed below the bonnet.

(from AC Schnitzer Press Release) Dynamics in its most beautiful form, beyond the standard: The BMW 5-series saloon gains its wings from AC Schnitzer

"Dynamics in its most beautiful form" - the new BMW 5-series saloon has been in the showrooms of BMW dealers since May 2010.

Aachen-based tuning specialist AC Schnitzer gives the new dynamic BMW extra wings with its extensive range of special accessories. Thanks to the AC Schnitzer performance upgrade on the 530d, the driver behind the wheel can enjoy 286 HP instead of the standard 245 HP. Optimizations for the BMW 520d, 525d and 535d are also in development. Whatever the model, all 5-series can be improved with the AC Schnitzer engine styling with capacity logo.

Acoustically, the AC Schnitzer versions of the BMW 550i, 535i, 535d and 530d are enhanced with the twin sports rear silencer with its chromed "Sports Trim“ tailpipe trims in left/right combination (in development). This not only provides the sonorous, sporting sound but also brings an improved response behaviour from the engine. Manhart Racing BMW Z4 V10 2010

(from Manhart Racing Press Release) HEART TRANSPLANT 550 HP in Z4

The M version of the BMW Z4 is famously known by nature for being anything but underpowered, since the chassis of the sports convertible already has a heck of a lot of work with the 343 HP and the forward thrust in the lower gears could last forever.

As is generally known however, the sport oriented motorist can never have enough power at his command. Sufficient cause for Gnther Manhart, who by now has over 25 years experience in rebuilding BMW engines - a first for Europe to transplant a brand new, much stronger heart into the Z4. The transplantation of the ten cylinder engine from the current M5 generation into the narrow engine bay of the roadster was anything but a walk in the park and it earned the Manhart Racing engineers quite a few grey hairs. Nevertheless: everything fitted in the end and now the fire of a 5.0 litre V10 engine with an impressive output of 550 HP blazes above the front axle of the Z4. A catalytic converter, a modified DME electronic control unit and the removal of the factory-set V-Max restriction up to 250 km/h are part of the rebuild. Consistent to the M5 V10 engine Manhart Racing has treated the Z4 to an original M5 E60 6 gear manual transmission which includes a Fichtel & Sachs clutch and a M5 E60 differential. An AC Schnitzer stainless steel exhaust system with four muffler tips which was fitted with HJS racing catalytic converters caters for a perfect V10 sound at the rear.

G-Power BMW X5 Typhoon RS 2010

(from G-Power Press Release) Brawny wing extensions and strikingly formed front- and rear skirts qualified for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, mark the appearance of the G-POWER TYPHOON RS. The body alteration in OEM-quality made of PU-rim has been developed by the G-POWER designers by using state-of-the-art CAD technology. Therefore, the basic car has been entirely digitalised with a 3D-scanner on the own company premises.

The elegantly formed G-POWER wing extensions at the front- and back axle which are naturally delivered with a perfectly matching inner wing extend the X5 by seven centimetres. They make room for extra-broad 23“ wheels and tyres. The G-POWER SILVERSTONE “forged” aluminium wheels in the dimensions 11Jx23 at the front and 12Jx23 at the back were especially designed for the TYPHOON RS and are the largest available model. Four high-performance tyres measuring 315/25 ZR 23 by the development partner Michelin render optimal traction and sporty handling.
